- Ford swept the North American Car and Truck of the Year awards today at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), winning both prestigious awards for the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid and the 2010 Ford Transit Connect, respectively
- It is the third time in 17 years that one manufacturer has won both awards
- The Ford Fusion Hybrid is America's most fuel-efficient midsize sedan with an EPA-estimated 41 mpg rating in the city and 36 mpg on the highway, topping the Toyota Camry hybrid by 8 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway
- The Transit Connect is an industry-exclusive vehicle developed to be a smart new choice for small business owners; it offers double the fuel economy of full-size vans, generous and accessible cargo space, and the agility and maneuverability to operate in crowded urban areas
There's certainly a great deal to talk about:
-The success of our new Taurus and Mustang
-Ford has a 82,000 unit margin over Chevrolet The F-150 is closing in on the 33rd consecutive year as America's best selling Vehicle.
-The new Super Duty and Fiesta are just right around the corner! Go Ford!

Rancho Ford Is at it again!! And were happy to say
Chaparral High School
Will be the next school to partner with us.
The Drive One 4 UR School program was developed as a fun, engaging way to help high schools raise money to support their sports and extracurricular activities. Every test-drive earns Chaparral high school $20. So, the more people who test-drive a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicle at the event, the more money they can raise. Ride-and-drive participants can include anyone in the community, 18 years or older with a valid driver's license*. One per household.

A Temecula car dealer raised $3,100 on behalf of Great Oak High School during a recent test drive promotion.
Rancho Ford Lincoln Mercury donated $20 on behalf of each of the 155 people who took test drives in one or more of a dozen models sold by the dealership.
The Sept. 26 event was held as part of the car manufacturer’s Drive One 4 UR School Program, which has raised more than $1.3 million nationwide over the past two years.
The funds will be earmarked for campus after-school activities that include sports, dance, cheer, choir and other programs, Don Skaggs, Great Oak activities director, said in a news release.
“We can’t thank Ford Motor Company and Rancho Ford Lincoln Mercury enough for sponsoring this event,” Skaggs said.
The dealership, which flanks Ynez Road east of Interstate 15, has been supporting civic, community and charitable projects and programs for more than 25 years.
